Ohana Care Home is a small non-medical residential care facility for elderly located in southeast San Diego, approximately 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. The house is in a quiet residential area and sits on top of the hill with a gorgeous mountain view. Its spacious interior is beautifully decorated and features private and semi-private rooms. The facility is owned and operated by a caring husband and wife team, along with experienced caregivers. Languages spoken at Ohana Care Home include Japanese and English.
"Ohana" means family in Hawaiian language. Our idea is to treat everyone like Ohana including our residents, their family and friends. We are committed to providing a high quality personalized care to every resident. We encourage all of our residents to stay as independent and active as possible.
We are passionate about food! We understand food is a big part of life for most people. We offer a variety of delicious and enticing meals from hearty American to gourmet Asian. Because one of the owners is Japanese, traditional Japanese meals are also available upon request.
